Green Patriot Posters

Green Patriot Posters brings together the strongest contemporary graphic design promoting sustainability and the fight against climate change. The campaign, created by The Canary Project, has already reached 5 million people through print media, public space and digital culture.

The posters have been displayed on bus ads; in billboard campaigns, in a published book (Metropolis Books); on a website and in museums. They are part of the traveling exhibition, Graphic Design – Now in Production, which has been seen at the Walker Arts Center, the Cooper-Hewitt: National Design Museum and the Hammer Museum.

I produced a short documentary about the campaign that features interviews with Shepard Fairey; DJ Spooky; Michael Bierut; Dimtri Siegel and Edward Morris. The film was shot on location in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Ventura, New York, Paris and Stockholm. It will be featured in a traveling solo exhibition of Green Patriot Posters launching at Design Museum Boston in 2014.

I also promoted the first solo exhibition of the posters in New York City, and produced two ZERO WASTE events/preview screenings of the film in Los Angeles.
